Sayidkomil joined the TSUL’s Jessup team in 2018. Their team was ranked third in the National Championship and was invited to the International Rounds as an Exhibition Team, where he served as bailiff for a number of rounds.
Why Jessup?
The reason is simple – International Law – the field of jurisprudence that I’m mostly interested in. And the Jessup is the most prestigious and the biggest moot court competition all over the world. In this sense, not to participate in the Jessup at least once – is unforgivable!
How has Jessup experience changed you?
The Jessup grants you such skills that can be used outside the competition itself. The highly appreciated skill is the ability to perform a “legal surgery”.
What was the most memorable moment of your participation in the Jessup?
It may sound a little strange, but the most unforgettable is the long-lasted preparation. You can’t forget the people around that were with you all time. In the absence of at least one of them, I feel not in my own way. Jessup gave me a family and that says it all!
What advice would you give to the future generations of Jessup participants?
The participation is a must!!! It’s worth it J
