Salimjon’s first participation in the Jessup was back in 2015. He returned back as a Competitor in 2016, and in 2017 he was coaching a team of the Westminster International University in Tashkent. Starting from 2018 he serves as the National Administrator of the Competition in Uzbekistan and is the first National Administrator since 2006. In 2019 he judged the UK and the International Rounds of the Competition.
For his service, he was awarded the Steven Schneebaum Award for Outstanding National Administrator in 2019.
Salimjon is a graduate of Westminster International University in Tashkent, and currently pursues an LL.M. degree in International Banking and Finance at the University College London (UK).
My message to the participating Teams is following – even though you come from different universities and you are competing with one another, you should see each other as friends, not foes. Whatever happens during the Jessup season – maintain and strengthen the contacts with each other, with us, and with the global Jessup Community.
