Why Jessup?

As a law student I always dreamed to take part in international moot court competition and participating in Jessup was a great opportunity to realize this dream. I have chosen Jessup also because I wanted to tie my future career with international law.

How has Jessup experience changed you?

Jessup has helped me to work in a team and accurately plan tasks to be completed within limited time. It has as well taught me how to research properly and apply public international law theories to real life fact patterns. I also believe that participation in Jessup was a great advantage while applying for scholarships, universities and internships I have been accepted to.

What was the most memorable moment of your participation in the Jessup?

Having a chance to speak before the experts in public international law and get their feedbacks was without a question memorable and significant to me. It was equally unforgettable to visit Washington DC and see all the important places like the White House after the final rounds.

What advice would you give to the future generations of Jessup participants?

I would urge all hard-working, diligent and stress resistant law students to participate in Jessup. Although Jessup may demand a lot of time and effort to be invested, at the end of the day it is great experience, new knowledge and useful advocacy skills which Jessupers will obtain.
