Khusniddin joined the WIUT’s Jessup Team in 2018. He competed in the National Rounds 2019, in which his team came second.
Why Jessup?
In my first participation, it attracted me with its status and opportunities it provides. My mind have significantly changed by the end of my first year of participation. I decided to continue my Jessup journey because of the atmosphere and courage I felt last year. The way how the competition united all team members putting one common goal and how the team was passionate on completing this goal, how the team supported each other every second and how the season topic.
How has Jessup experience changed you?
Trough the participation in Jessup I could develop many important skills, such as legal researching, legal writing, team working and presentation skills.
What was the most memorable moment of your participation in the Jessup?
The most memorable period/stage was last days and the day of national rounds. We were united as a team as we have never been before. Each of us felt the support of other team members. It was the moment when atmosphere within the team was incredible.
What advice would you give to the future generations of Jessup participants?
Details always matter. This is the lesson I learned from my first year experience. Pay attention on every small stuff that you face in the process of preparation. Because exactly this thing could become decisive in the future.
