
Azizbek was a team member of the Tashkent State University Jessup team in 2018. His team was ranked third in the National Championship and was invited to the International Rounds as an Exhibition Team. In addition to competing against other exhibition teams, Azizbek served as a bailiff for a number of rounds.
Why Jessup?
I have a desire to be an international lawyer. Jessup competition gives me basic databases to my future profession. Furthermore, I learned here how to work with international documents and precedents. I saw in this competition professional judges who motivated me to work harder on myself.
How has Jessup experience changed you?
Honestly, taking part in Jessup, I saw a high competition which changed dramatically my attitude towards international law. Moreover, I learned to be confident and to control myself, improved analytically thinking skill.
What was the most memorable moment of your participation in the Jessup?
The most memorable moment was “Go – National Dress Ball” party. I created a new world for me here. All participants were dressed with national dress of their country. We all were as a whole family. Everyone was kindly, lovely, friendly to each other. All really enjoyed, I felt honor that I participated in this event.
What advice would you give to the future generations of Jessup participants?
Jessup competition is a team work. Work together to achieve your goal. During preparation base on the article 38 of ICJ. Never Give Up!
