Aziza joined the Jessup in 2017 as a part of the team of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. Her team competed twice both in the National and International Rounds. In 2018 the team was invited to the International Rounds as an Exhibition Team, and in 2019 it had represented Uzbekistan as the National Champion.

Two years ago I had no idea what Jessup is, but now I exactly know WHY Jessup! Jessup lefts indelible mark that makes you return again and again. And Jessup is a big multicultural family that always ready to have you back anytime.
How has Jessup experience changed you?
Sleepless nights and endless disputes with teammates on various subjects during Jessup taught me to defend my position and at the same time to understand and accept someone else’s. Infinite sources of data assisted to improve analytical skills. So I got valuable experience as a lawyer in the future. Also Jessup is good opportunity to work with team. I did not only tight good relationship with team members, but also got acquainted with the people with the same passion and idea from each part of the world.
What was the most memorable moment of your participation in the Jessup?
The most memorable moment was the announcement of my country, school and team in the opening ceremony, because you just burst with pride when you hear it. And you will have unforgettable emotions that can only be experienced in Jessup atmosphere as “Jessuper”.
What advice would you give to the future generations of Jessup participants?
Be brave and use every opportunity to obtain the knowledge and enhance skills you have.
